How do I register my product?


Issue Description Product registration normally occurs during the installation process. To register your product, you must be connected to the Internet during installation. Please note that Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x or later is required to register your product. You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer at:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx.

If you receive a 500-100 error or an error that states A network error was encountered, please try again later, remove any non-alphanumeric characters (& ??? '' < > #) from the text fields in your registration form and try registering again.



Solution If the registration wizard does not display after the installation of the product, please follow the steps below:
  1. Right-click the M icon on your taskbar.
  2. Select Check for updates. If you have not registered your software, you will be prompted to register before obtaining your updates.

    NOTE: You must be connected to the Internet to register or update your product.
  3. When the McAfee Product Registration window displays, click Next to continue with the registration process.
  4. Complete the product registration form to proceed with updating the product.
After your product is registered, it will automatically update when connected to the Internet.

Would like to register my nuvi 1300

Hello,

To be able you register yourGarmin nuvi GPS, you need to have a Garmin account. Thereafter, you can proceed for the Garmin nuvi GPS registration. After you have registered, you will have to enter your Garmin account to be able to register your Garmin nuvi GPS.

Follow this link to register your new Garmin nuvi GPS; https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/marketing/register.htm

When the link opens, Under language, select English and below, click on "Automotive" icon. This will proceed to the next page.

On top of "Username", you will see "Don't have an account? Create one". Click on the "Create one". It is underlined and typed in blue.

Now you are on the registration page. Enter your full name, e-mail address, username you would like to use and create a password.

After filling all the required information, at the bottom of the registration page, you will see "Create Account'. Click on and and registration is complete.

Further more, after the registration, you will need to update your map, follow the below directions;

1. Plug one end of the USB cable into your GPS and the other end into your desktop or laptop computer. The GPS device will load the appropriate driver automatically, and a message on your GPS tells you that it is connected to your computer via USB.
2. Open your Internet browser of choice and type in the following web addres: "http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27 "
3. Download the appropriate version of the software for your computer (Windows or Apple) and Install the WebUpdater by following the wizard (accept defaults).
4. Click "Start," "Programs," "Garmin" and " WebUpdater" to update your firmware and your maps. Periodically check and make sure your software is current.

I have purchased today an EOS Rebel Canon T3i camera and am trying to register it today to qualify for benefits. This product does not appear on your list. Please advise me what to do.

Register your camera directly with the manufacturer.
If you bought it in the US, go to http://www.canonusa.com
Under the "Consumer & Home Office Tab" select "Product Registration".

If you bought it elsewhere, go to http://www.canon.com
Select your country or region and go from there.

I have a lens error, restart camera. How do I restart camera?

Solution one: Check the scanner light Make a color copy of any document by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel. While the product is making the copy, lift the scanner lid slightly to see if the scanner light is visible. CAUTION: Do not look directly at the light. It is not necessary to completely open the lid to see the light.
  • If the scanner mechanism moves across the scan bed, but the light is not lit, proceed to Solution six: Service the product .
  • If the light is lit, proceed to the next solution.
Solution two: Check operating conditions Extreme temperatures can affect the operation of the product. Make sure the operating conditions match those recommended in the User Guide provided with the product. Solution three: Check the power connections
  1. Make sure that the part number on the power supply matches the part number listed in the User Guide .
  2. Disconnect the power cord from any power strips or surge suppressors, and then plug it directly into a wall outlet.
  3. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
    • If the copy job is successful, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
      NOTE: Power strips and surge suppressors can sometimes prevent enough voltage from reaching the product.
  4. If the error message displays again, temporarily move the product to a different room, or plug the power cord into a different wall outlet.

    • If the copy job is successful, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

Drivers megxon a1

http://www.megxon.com/products/Products-CMOS.htm This is the only thing I found that you could use, and it just provides you with email address choices to contct people in Taiwan. The general impression is that the megxon products comes with little, to no, support. The manufacturer blames errors on the false claims of retailers...yada, yada, yada...

General conclusion is you may have a lemon. I hope your investment loss is not to bad. Good Luck!
