I have a Panasonic TC-P42S30 plasma tv. Recently I have noticed image problems affecting the whole screen. Large white or light areas have started to develop large off color areas, and a grainy appearance. There also appears to be a greyish overlay. I'm looking for guidance on which board to replace (I'm on disability and can't afford much)

Unfortunately there isn't a way to say exactly what board is causing the issue, plasma sets are a lot harder to repair as there are at least double the amount of boards in them and several boards cause similar issues.

SOURCE: Samsung Model: HP-R4262 42" Plasma Problem, pink pixelation/ghosting

Wow, I've been an installer and salesman in the consumer electronics industry since before the first plasma TV came out (Phillips 42" and Fujitsu 42" in 1996) and this is the first time I've ever seen that kind of an answer. "Take this to a repairman and he can add more plasma" what is the repairman a doctor. If it were that easy no one would ever have to upgrade or replace their screens. You can't add more plasma to a screen, if you don't believe me call Samsung and ask them for yourself like I did. I was actually so dumbfounded by your answer that I called a tech friend of mine at Samsung and asked him, his answer; "does this guy work for you?" I told him no and he said, "I was going to tell you to fire him because that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone tell a customer".
What you need to do is take you plasma TV to an AUTHORIZED Samsung dealer/repair shop and inquire about the hazing/ghosting problem with them. Follow this link to find an authorized repair center near you: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/repairlocation/serviceLocator.do?group=&type=&subtype=&model_nm=HP-R4262&dType=D&mType=UM&vType=R&prd_ia_cd=&acc_ia_fl=&disp_nm=HP-R4262

SOURCE: black color on photos greyish looking and pixelated

Please check the Printer Setting Preference in for Best print.

And also try to work out with a new Cartridge. Let me know if the problem still persists.
