Sometimes my Plasma TV will go from clear beautiful picture to white fuzzy-no picture/no sound. It use to only happen switching from TV watching to movie watching thru PS3 or Blu-ray player. But noticed if I leave it on pause for a period of time the screen goes to white fuzzy flickering picture. Panasonic hasn't been any help with this matter. I notice they have stop making Plasma TV as well.

I had this problem in 2007 / 2008 here is what happened to me.
Jan 09, 2008 - I also have brought the unit to the authorized Panasonic repair facility and the problem is a failure in the P-board which is the power supply board. The P-board needs to be replaced. The repair will cost $475 plus tax. $250 is for labor. The unit was nop more than two months out of warranty. This does not speak well for Panasonic. I have been researching the problem and it looks like this has happened to many of the Panasonic plasma TVs.
Jun 14, 2008 - As an update to my problem with the failed P board. Contacted Panasonic Service and talked to a customer service representative. I told them how I have purchased many Panasonic products and how unhappy I was with the failure of the product. They proposed paying the labor cost of $250 and I would pay for the part. I just hope it does not happen again.

maybe you have interference with other electrical component near your tv. move the component, example cable box, dvd, sat box.

The Panasonic doesn't detect the presence of the signal on the antenna input so it just skips it. shut down the player and turn the cable box on before attempting to switch sources.
But why aren't you using the Composite RCA connection on the cable box ? Not only you would get a much better image but the tv would detect that change in the AV source and should switch by itself. If it doesn't then the control processor is faulty and the entire mainboard will will have to be replaced
