This issue might be due to a malfunctioning auxiliary input or a problem with the amplifier circuit. You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the connection between the auxiliary input and the head unit to make sure it's properly plugged in.
Check the audio cable for any signs of damage or wear.
Make sure the auxiliary input is selected as the source on the head unit.
Check the amplifier circuit to see if it's functioning properly. If it's not, the amplifier may need to be repaired or replaced.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it's recommended to have the unit inspected by a professional audio technician.
radio off press and hold the audio, sound or info button
it only teks 3 to 4 seconds , the radio is goin gto turn on on menu mode, you have to find the cd changer and turn it off, also find the aux and turn it on
you can also turn on and off many other functions
turn the unit off by pressing and holding the off button. The only thing that should be showing then is the time. Then, press and hold the function buttion. This should display the setup menu. Scroll through the menu by pressing the function button (I think). "Aux" should show up and then press up/down or left/right (not sure again). When it says Aux on or yes, turn the unit back on. Press the "source" button until you get to AUX.
this works on some other pioneer head units i encountered it may work on yours. Shut it off and hold the function button until the options appear then
you can scroll through and change a bunch of settings including the aux
input
Shut it off then hold the function button, cycle through till you find your option to turn it on, the turn the radio back on and use you source button to change to CD, TUNER, and AUX
turn off your player by pressing and holding volume controler. press and hold longer (~5 sec) it again to turn it on (you should see 'tuner' in the lcd). push up arrow to select aux and right/left to turn it on.
now you can connect your ipod and select aux (as ussual switching between tuner/cd player/aux)
I don't know if you have figured out how to turn the AUX port on yet, but I just figured it out. First, turn the CD Player off by quickly pushing the "Source" button. This is also the volume knob. Then, after the player is off, hold down the "Source" button. This will bring up the initial setup. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the options. One of the options is to turn the AUX port on. Once this is finished, turn the unit back on and you're ready to go.
