My Cd player is about a month old and I tried hooking up my MP3 player to the Aux port on the back. Nothing showed on the cd player that I had just hooked up the device. I searched all the functions to see if there was an option to turn the Aux on and I couldn't. So my MP3 won't play. During my search to find if there was an option to turn my aux port on, my UP button got stuck. So now everytime on turn on my cd player it starts increse the bass or treble or whatever the function is. I tried to playing with it to see if would "pop" out back to normal but it hasn't worked. If anyone knows the answer to any of these problem, I would appreciate your input.
I don't know if you have figured out how to turn the AUX port on yet, but I just figured it out. First, turn the CD Player off by quickly pushing the "Source" button. This is also the volume knob. Then, after the player is off, hold down the "Source" button. This will bring up the initial setup. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the options. One of the options is to turn the AUX port on. Once this is finished, turn the unit back on and you're ready to go.
You have to turn on the AUX port when in the initial setup mode. The easiest way I found is to just unplug the unit and start over, it can be found in the initial setup under the function button as AUX1/AUX2 and you need to push up to turn it on. Once I did that, my MP3 player works, but I can't control it's volume other then on the MP3 player itself. Any suggestions?

I have the same model stereo and mine did the same just tonight! Ticked me off. I put in a CD and it played (been playin' CDs with no problems earlier) then the CD itself messed up. So I hit the eject button and nothing. All I see is AUX and radio tuner on it. No CD. what else sucks is I don't have an antenna hooked to it yet, (took out of my old van that was totalled so I didn't get an adaptor for antenna). I looked for a reset button on the face and under and I didn't see any. If you solved this issue, please let me know.
they are out jacks and you need to run the rcas to an amp and then run your speakers off the amp your mp3 player should work when you plug it in the front and press source aux unless the front jack is an out only
Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
