I recently purchased the tv repair kit from SHOP JIMMYS for my Vizio M50-C1. It came with all 4 boards. The problem with my TV is that I was watching it with no problems, then turned it off and went to the store. When I came home 10 minutes later and tried to turn it on the power button on tv would light up and then dim out but still had a very slight light, but the screen never showed anything at all IT JUST STAYED BLACK. I thought this was the power board so that is what I replaced, but when I put it back together the same problem still happens. So my question is do you guys have any idea on which board is causing my problem? Tomorrow I plan on replacing all the boards with the new ones but if you guys can tell me which one is causing the problem then I will replace just that one, and swap out the board I just changed and save the other parts for future use. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
If you have no picture and no sound, go with the main board first since that board works with both. If you have sound try the t con board first since it specializes in the video that appears on our screen..
