I'm attempting to fix my Vizio 75P-C1 that I purchased in 2015. Over 1 week the TV would take a few attempts to turn on then stopped turning on completely. Since then I replaced the power board (no change). I've also disconnected the mainboard from the power board and attempted to turn on the tv in thinking the bad mainboard is limiting the power board function but nothing happens. All fuses test normal. The only sign of activity is when I plug in the tv, the power button flashes white once and then remains inactive even with reset attempts (holding input/volume down, etc.). Not sure what to do at this point. Replace the; T-Con board- wouldn't I have some type of image or sound or power function Mainbaord- wouldn't I have a lighted screen once I disconnected the power board from the mainboard. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thx Model-P75-C1 Part No-10262011221 Serial Number-X40G075099705D ZA
I don't think you have all of the model number as I can't find anything on a 75P-C1 or have I ever heard of this model. Without the correct model it's a little hard to give good advice but will try, 1st thing to do is look on the power board for 5 volt standy pin and see if you see around 5 volts there, I think you will find it's ok considering you've already replaced the power board with no luck, if it's missing you received a defective power supply, What I suspect you have is a bad EEPROM, that's an IC located on the main board, one thing you can try is taking the board out the TV and put it in the freezer for an hour, after it's cold replace it in the set and see if it will power on, in most cases if this IC is bad using freeze spray will make the set work, confirming it's the EEPROM that's defective, but freezing the board will confirm if this is what's wrong. You have 2 choices if it's the EEROM that's bad, in most cases you can buy an IC from shopjimmy.com and solder it in, although it takes some advances soldering skills to replace it as it's very small, other option is replace the main board.

It's possible that the issue could lie with either the T-Con board or the mainboard. However, it's difficult to determine the root cause without physically examining the TV and conducting further tests. Here are some steps you could try:
It is recommended to seek the assistance of a professional repair technician if you are not familiar with electronics repair or are unsure of how to perform the steps listed abov

Testimonial: "Thanks man, I was hoping someone had encountered something similar, my biggest fear is that I spend all this money on the T-Conn and mainboard and it still doesn't fix it. If it was a smaller TV, I'd take it in for an a quick eval but it's a big mother. thx again."
you'll need to do a master reset of the device
