If the squeal is coming from the canister portion of the machine, then you most likely have a fairly serious motor/fan problem. There are no moving parts on that machine other than the fan/motor assembly in the canister.
A local service center could confirm that. You can try to get a free quote if they offer such a service. Many may charge a fee even for diagnostic work.
