Can't connect to Internet through WiFi on Android Tablet/Phone. ... 4.Try to turn off/on Wi-Fi on the device. Turn off Wi-Fi first, [Settings]>>[Wi-Fi] >>[OFF]. Then turn on Wi-Fi, [Settings]>>[Wi-Fi]>>[ON].
It depends on the tablet that you have. Usually non branded tablets tends to have lots of problem. It also could be that the radio could be corrupted. Radio is what it take care or manage the wifi, data, etc... anything with connectivity.
I do suggest that your try to flash the radio again if possible. If not, try these next steps:
1. Go tot he wifi connection and tap on forget, this is to make sure that you don't have any wifi saved.
2. Reboot your tablet.
3. Now search for the wifi again, set it up with all the requirement, like password, channels, etc.
4. Wait until it display saved even if it doesn't connect.
5. Reboot your tablet.
6. Try to connect again to the saved wifi. If it still doesn't connect, your only option is to flash the radio band.

Newsmy tablet T3 problem wifi connection. ... grey wifi/cant connect to google play error fix (root ...
I've known some tablets not connect to the standard 2.4G wifi but are quite happy on the newer 5G wifi. don't know why.
I've also known some tablets only connect to WEP security or none.
see if you can change the security settings in your router.
Most tablets connect to the internet through WIFI. Only a few can use SIM card to connect through 3G or 4G data connection. For WIFI connection, you must have a WIFI router at home. You will normally password-protect the WIFI rounter. To connect the tablet to the internet through the WIFI-router that is in operation, you will configure its WIFI settings to match the router's password. This will be done by going to tablet's Setting, turn on WIFI, click on your router in the list of detected routers, enter the password when prompted. Ensure that Connected is shown against your router. You can then browse the internet.
When you reset the tablet your tablet wifi settings, wifi name and password will be erased. You have to detect your wifi on the tablet, connect to it and enter password right?
Do you see the networks on you tablet? Ask at the campground where the wifi antennas are and go close. Somewhere in the settings for wifi you should be able to activate wifi if it isnt and then select wifi connection. They might have a login.
Good Luck.
Sorry im not that good with Android.
