Re: The soap is not being flushed out of the dispenser
Be sure that the detergent tray is not overfilled. If so, it will prevent the detergent tray from opening to dispense the soap. You may want to try liquid detergent to see if it works any better.

Solution!!!!! to Simplehuman sensor soap dispenser with blinking red light no despensing of soap and new batteries. Rinse out soap with hot water. Fill reservoir with hot tap water. Use bulb end of turkey baster. Place on reservoir to form a tight seal. Force air into reservoir. Which will force the hot water thru the system unclogging the thick soap. Repeat this several times till clear of soap. Then turn on the unit and flush thru the rest of the hot water using the sensor till comes out nicely. Then fill with a thinned out soap. Good luck
Probably the chack valve is stuck either with hardened soap or a piece of trash. Wash out the assembly completely flushing everything with ample water. It should work after that.
make sure that the you let the hot water run for 2-3 min to make sure it is hot going into machine or it will not break down the soap.if the dispenser is opening then it is a tempproblem. let me know if my assistance was any help with a 4 thumbs up post
You may be using too thick of a liquid in it palmolive is the worst to use in soap dispensers flush the head out with water if you remove the tube from it be careful alot of them have a ballbearing or spring inside or the unit is worn

RESOLUTION: The holes in the dispenser housing were enlarged to allow a greater volume of water to flow through the fabric softener dispenser to properly dispense the fabric softener. OTHER THAN THAT ... ALL YOU CAN DO IS KEEP THAT DISPENSER FLUSHED OUT WITH HOT WATER AFTER EVERY WASH. JUST POUR HOT WAYER TROUGH IT ...
IF THE WATER BACKS UP (EVEN WITH A SLOW POURING) THE DISPENSER IS PLUGGED AND NEEDS TO BE FLUSHED OUT WITH A HOSE.
