I'm having the issue of 3 Horizontal Lines, TV Fades out but audio works. I'm am trying to diagnose the issue to see which part to replace.
This is most likely the T-CON board

The key here is the whole image fades out according to your post. This could be the LCD panel edge connectors and if you want to check that then you have to disassemble the bezel from the lcd panel and with the set on, you press on all the connectors to see if the picture comes back on. If it does then you can try putting foam or tubing on the bad connector to hold pressure against it when you reassemble the unit. TCON boards are a whole lot cheaper than an LCD panel and the company wont ship a large panel to an end user.
