Monitor took half an hour to warm up, now won't start.

For about a week, my monitor took about half an hour of warming up to start (consisting of grey horizontal and vertical lines, folloed up by flashing and colors. I was okay with this because afterwards the display was amazing.

Now, however, when I turn on my computer, the monitor light just flickers for half a second and the monitor does not turn on.

I get intermittent grey and colored horizontal and vertical lines while playing Sims 2. I have an NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300 graphics card and the latest driver for the graphics card. Does anyone know where I can get a FREE driver for my MAG Innovision LT782s monitor? Thanks.

Doubtful this is a driver issue warm up is not needed for any monitor. this is a power board issue internal to the monitor capacitors or some issue on the main power board. let me kow what you will do. good luck.

Warm oil temp upon cold start?

If you're consistently experiencing warm oil temperatures during cold starts, it's likely due to the oil's properties and the engine's design. However, always monitor your vehicle's performance and consult your manufacturer's recommendations if you have concerns.

Most engine wear occurs from the cold where the engine has not yet warmed up. It is what produces wear even in warm climates.

My monitor picture starts to shack once the monitor has warmed up.

How to test. .. Turn monitor off for an hour, while leaving the computer on. If the monitor still shakes when you turn it back on, it's not the monitor.

Luxor lux0140001B/01 1 week old picture has top half with a grey see through screen

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following
symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can
examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life
of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.

Dear sir; I have LCD 15'' sumsung monitor, its problem is that the display took time after cpu on. it takes long time about one to two hours to display. However after display there is no ploblem.

Only thing I can think of is that the monitor is dying and takes a long time to warm up. One trick might be to always leave it on (so it stays warm) or replace the monitor and your problem will probably go away.

Starts flashing after a couple hours use

This looks like a problem with the LCD once it gets warm. Please get this checked through a Hardware store.

The Right Half of My Screen Is Grayed Out

It seems unlikely that two pins would be missing. They would more likely be bent down. If there's no bent pins, it looks like it could be a faulty monitor. Certainly, when TFT displays go, they tend to manifest the fault in a colourless or multicoloured bar consistently across a portion of the screen.

Philps LCD Monitor Won't turn on Straight away

That is definitely a problem with the monitor...if its under warranty have it replaced...if not...start looking for a replacement it hardly ever is worth it to have them repaired (shipping, parts, labor is usually a little less than a new monitor). Sorry
