Hi T. Phelps, sounds like the coupler situated between the motor and gearbox is broken etc.

Right wheel turns slower than left one causing chair to turn right only?

hi Robert, normally this is because of the motor on the left hand side either needs new brushes or the brake is not freeing 100% , at worse it is a joystick fault ... check the joystick connections.. and the connections to the left hand side motor

Rob

Left brake fault may not be engaged.

Each motor has a brake system attached to them. One of them isn't working and is sending a fault signal to the controller. It needs to be serviced.

The right side is disengaging. It goes around in circles to the right.

Go to Pride Mobility Products Corp Basic Troubleshooting Instructions This page can assist you. There is also a lever to disengage the wheels that allow the chair to be rolled when not powered. Look at your manual to find the location.

I have a pride 614 hd, it it is clicking on the left side, and rough riding sometime, and sometime it runs like new. When you first start it jumps.

These are known for having bad motors. More specifically the motor wiring is bad. The leads that go into the motor housing flex and break the strands of wire inside the wires insulation. This causes the jerking and jumping. Check the motor name if the maker's name starts with and E then this is likely the issue. You can flex the motor wiring when the wheels are disengaged or off the ground and see if you can repeat the problem.
If its under 18 months old demand a waranty replacement motor from Pride.

Code 5 error

There are several different controllers used on this model. The most common is the PG Drives models. If you have 5 bars flashing on a PG Drives joystick this indicates an issue with the right motor. There is a known issue with the Pride motors in that the wire inside the insulation breaks, causing and open and the fault code. Check the motor with a meter at the connector. If it reads over 2 ohms or infinity then you need the right motor replaced... or rebuilt.

I have a Jazzy 614 HD scooter. The right tire seems to skip and not get traction

The newer Pride Jazzy and Quantum series are known for motor failure where the wires become broken inside the wire insulation at the wire entrance to the motor housing - so the break can not be seen. It starts as a shutter and is intermittent.
(The motor wire's gauge / strand count is too low for the repeated flexing when the motor articulates during acceleration and deceleration)

Eventually the break completely and you are stuck.

If the chair is less than 18 months old take it back to the dealer and demand a warranty replacement. If they don't fix it then contact your State Attorney General regarding elder and disabled abuse. Seriously!

Blinking yellow wrench light on pride jazzy 614 HD

Your version has a Dynamic Controls model controller and joystick.
Unplug the charger and engage the motor/brake lever so the chair is no longer in free-wheel mode (con't push by hand)
Turn the chair off, wait 5 seconds, turn the chair back.
If chair still does not run and your wrench is flashing you have a problem. Count the wrench flashes - the flash count indicates the error detected. 3, 4, 5, and 6 flashes indicate and error with the motors.
3=Left motor fault
4=Right motor fault
5=Left brake fault (may not be engaged)
6=Right brake fault (may not be engaged)
Any other fault code usually means the electronics or wiring is bad and not worth fixing.
