Why does it play and stop but monitors work fine?

Sound like either the crossover or the driver has blown or, if you're lucky there is a loose connection internally if you have only checked external connections.

if the monitor is plug & play & it is not working properly, there is problem with the main board of the monitor. access the main board by opening the back cover & look for odd shaped capacitors. if all are fine then you need to replace the main board.

Video acceleration only works on the primary monitor.
If you want your blue-ray to play on your second monitor, you need to make it the primary display.

This monitor only uses plug and play drivers and unfortunately there does not appear to be much support for them on Westinhouse's support site.

Try replacing the usb cable from the monitor to the computer with a new one or make sure that the cable is connected.

I have the same problem with 800x600. I've found that by setting the refresh rate to 56 Hz, I can get the games to play. For instance Age-Of-Empires II only works with this method. My old monitor worked fine, and this works at 1280x1024.

Go to Start->Control Panel -> Display, Settings Tab, and turn down the resolution of your computer.

Wish I could. I have the 4600 combo and the VCR works fine. The DVD stopped working many months ago and just yesterday started working fine again. Worked fine for two days and then stopped, picture froze, and all I got out of it, is the picture is loading. Wont give me back my DVD nohow, so have opened the case and stole it back. Tray will not open at all. Trying some repairs, will holler if succesful
