Fuse is there, but more damage is suspected. Transistors damage easily and capacitors will short when subjected to reverse polarity.

F28 error code on Maytag front loading washer

The communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) has failed.

Possible Causes

- Reversed polarity or mis-wire along with open ground switch(es).

- Communication cable from CCU (MI3) to MCU is damaged.

Procedure for reversed polarity or mis-wire

1. Clear error code.

2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

3. Check the white wire on the RFI filter to ensure correct polarity.White wire needs to be toward front of washer.

4. Check outlet for correct polarity. To check within washer for polarity at the RFI, white to cabinet ground must be 0 volts.

5. Check that the ground switches of the toe panel and rear panel are correctly closed.

If switches are good ,replace the CCU.

How do i fix reversed 115 polarity on a heat unit amana

Can you be more specific with your question? A 230V unit won't work with 115V power. Reversed polarity may just mean that the outlet is wired backwards and the wires need to be switched around.

On my central air inside unit I have a red light flashing constantly.(reverse polarity) How do I do that....It seems to be a Goodman.

Hi, to reverse polarity means your electric power coming into the indoor unit is wired backward is all. It should be 120 volts coming in, so find where your power cord wires come in to the unit, a black and a white, they should plug into the board, and just switch them around, nothing to it!! Unplug the unit first, or shut off the breaker. This will solve your problem, as the 2- wires are just reversed.

I have a TRC 458 cb.... it keeps blowing fuses

It may have been reversed polarity on turn on. This can short out the polarity diode and then cause fuses to blow. This is a protection circuit so do not keep trying new fuses as the reverse surge can go into the radio deeper and damage it beyond repair.

Reversed polarity and now it keeps blowing fuses

For 25 cents, they could have installed a diode to prevent this problem, but now there isn't anything you can do, as the damage has been done by the reverse polarity.

Locked up sub-woofer cone won't move?

In theory your idea would work, however you risk damaging your amp by reversing polarity and the positive and negative wires from your head unit are low voltage so they wont provide enough current in reverse or normal polarity to free the cone of your sub. but here is something that you can try that is similar in concept.

Take a positive lead from your head unit and wire it to the negative of your sub. Now ground the positive terminal of your sub to the vehicles chassy using a wire. This creates a 12v-14v reversed polarity current that should be strong enough to (POP) the cone so to speak. hope this helps

Fues blown in xpower inverter 1750 plus

These fuse are often intend to protect voltage inversion. (reverse voltage)
So, if the eight fuse are blown, then maybe the voltage red and black wire were not connected to the correct polarity.

then again, even if these fuse are intend to be use as reverse protection, it may occure that transformer short out, transistor short out and many other short circuit inside the inverter as occure.

So replacing all eight fuse might not restore the unit function, they may even blow again.
Also, reversing polarity that cause the fuse to blow might have damage the transistor stage.

I am still, investigating few other problem with those unit.
I don't have all answer yet.
