Problems whit logitech mx518 mouse left click sometimes work and sometime no, how do i fix the left click

It sounds like the micro switch needs replacing inside the mouse. At the end of the day it is probably cheaper and less hassel to go out and buy a new mouse.

MX518 stops working for some seconds

The usb port might not be working fine, try the other usb port. Since the light goes off it signifies that the connectivity with the pc is lost.

Red light stop for MX518 (logitech)

hi,
either try connecting the mouse to another USB-port or another computer to see whether it works with another machine. IF it does not the mouse is broken and you will have to get a new one.

Good luck

Logitech mx518

To work around this problem, turn off the Enhance pointer precision feature: 1. Click Start, click Run, type control mouse, and then click OK. 2. Click the Pointer Options tab, click to clear the Enhance pointer precision check box, and then click OK.
Also see this article from Logitech.

The surface on which you use the mouse plays an important role in its tracking. The optical sensor must use the pattern on the surface to track the position of the cursor. Therefore, using the mouse on a glass or otherwise see-through surface will inhibit the ability of the sensor to track the cursor. Also, if you are using the mouse on a reflective surface, such as a mirror or shiny metal desk, you may experience tracking problems. In both these situations, try using the mouse on a mouse pad or piece of paper. By using the mouse on a white sheet of paper, you can also conserve battery life. Other surfaces that have been known to cause tracking problems are:
  • Some wood grains
  • Grooved surfaces
Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. - If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.
