Removing CMOS Battery (Real Time Clock Battery. Also called Coin-Cell battery), will NOT work.
remove the cmos battery for 30 secs at least - usually works
also try looking in your manual for mention of a cmos reset jumper,
short these 2 pins and it should reset your bios to defaults and remove any passwords
Remove BIOS battery. Short BIOS jumper or leave the battery out for a long time(Over night,maybe)
This should default the BIOS to having no pass word present. If that doesn't work then evidently Dell has one within the BIOS . Just ask them.
