My Bosch she45mo6uc/50 dishwasher will not advance to the wash cycle. It makes a series of clicks, but nothing happens. It just stops. Any ideas?

The most common problem that causes this with this particular unit is the water heater unit failing. It will clod rinse but then when it fills and tries to heat the water, it senses that the heater unit isn't functioning and errors out

My Bosch dishwasher fills with water but when it comes to the wash cycle it does nothing.

If your dishwasher is brand new, then call Bosch service as they can repair it under warranty.

We have a Bosch SHE45M06UC/50 dishwasher that is acting a bit nutty, first of all the timers are all wrong, mostly too short for what the manual says except the quick cycle and it is too long. There is on...

Hi, The first thing to note with your make of D/W is the display only shows "estimated time" not actual time. There are just too many variables to give actual times, i.e. water temp. at inlet, drain hose length & diameter, as well as possible heat faulty. I hope that helps clear up the issue of "inconsistent" wash cycle times. As far as the delayed start is concerned, how long are you talking about ? Several seconds or several minutes ? Let me know and we'll go from there. Macmarkus :)

Dishwasher stalls

If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:

Water-heating cycle
Timer
Water-heating cycle Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

  • On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

  • On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

Timer Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

Bosch dishwasher timer freezing

There is a recall on the control board of many of these models, butyour problem is likely not related. It sounds like a plugged drain system or a possible bad drain pump. That's why you are hearing the pump running constantly. I have written a guide to help. It is here. Thanks!

Water left after finishing wash

I have a Bosch Dishwasher and the E-Nr is SGS4362EU/03. The machine is approximately 4 years old, in good condition and has been working very well. Suddenly, there is water remaining after it completes a 50 degrees C wash cycle. This is also evident with the pre wash cycle and the 65 degrees wash cycle.

I have checked and cleaned the filters. I have loosened the internal pump white cover (Torx T 20 screw) and checked for any physical blockage - none. I have also checked for any drainage hose kinks - none.

I have tried a series of empty washes and the machine drains the water during the wash cycles. The dishes are also have a dull colour and show show signs of not being properly rinsed during the wash cycle.

Please assist.

Brian

Won't complete the cycle

Try using a quick cycle and see what happens. Don't use sanitize or any extra heat cycle. Sometimes during sanitize high temp rinse or other cycles the timer motor is stopped until the water heats up. The sensor could be defective. Not all machines do this and I'm not real familiar with your particular one.
