SOURCE: hisense television

if you contact hisense all they can say is "send email, send email. there is no support from them at all. this is what i have found. TURN THE TV OFF BY THE SET ITSELF NOT BY THE REMOTE, THEN UNPLUG THE TV AND LEAVE IT OFF FOR 30-40 MINUTES OR BETTER YET OVERNIGHT. THIS WILL RESET THE TV. HOPE THIS HELPS

SOURCE: need IR code for Hisense 32" LCD tv to program

Are you referring to the iPhone/iPad app? if yes then this is not a remote app, it's a management app made for Comcast boxes and nothing else it doesn't controls tv's.
If you are referring to the actual remote for one of the Comcast boxes then it all depends on what model of remote you have and the exact model of your tv - some will support it thru the use of a Daewoo or Samsung code, others don't.
So you have 2 options:
1 - you try every Daewoo and Samsung code you have in the manual and if that fails you do a code scan on the remote as explained in the manual:
Turn on your TV
Press the TV button on the top of the remote, then press and hold Setup until the TV light blinks twice
Enter 9-9-1 and the TV button will blink twice
Press and release 1 and the TV button will blink twice
Point the remote at the TV, press and release the Power button, then press the CH+ button multiple times until the TV turns off
Press Setup once to lock in the code and the TV button will blink twice
If even that fails - the tv doesn't shuts down - then the remote is incompatible to the tv so
2 - you get a remote that is compatible with both. The only one i could find is

SOURCE: My hisense 50 inch lcd tv has picture but no sound.

If you still have back light, then the T-con is probably defective. If you don't have back light, then you either have a bad power board/inverter or a defective panel

I have a 75 in hisense tv and one evening in the middle of a movie the screen went black

If it's Hisense it's most likely backlights that are bad, average life of a Hisense TV is 26 months, needless to say there are betters sets for the money. There are 2 choices with your TV, order backlights from shopjimmy.com and change them yourself for around $100 with shipping or recycle the TV as it will cost around $400 to take it in to a repair shop for service, might as well buy a new TV then. If you decide to repair it yourself you will need suction cups to handle the panel, without you most likely will damage it, another downside to Hisense is the panels are very thin and very fragile

Hisense tv won't stay on?

If your Hisense TV won't turn on, first ensure that the power cord is correctly seated in the back of your TV and then try a different wall outlet. If the TV still doesn't turn on, unplug it from the wall, wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

My Hisense en33926a tv wont turn on and i need help can you help me?

Ok so this one is complicated In my experience with this type of issue if you remove the back of the tv and look for a swollen capacitor as u can see on this pic of what I am speaking of. I had a 60 inch flat screen did the same thing. I opened it up found the one that was swollen and on mine there was only one I removed it desolidered it I went to Apache reclamation it’s a store here in Phoenix that is like a thrift store for machine parts and things like that. I m sure you could probably order one from eBay. Anyway we found the one we need and it was a little larger in size but was the same voltage and soldiered it on to the board and the tv now works. If you think you could take that on go for it. You won’t make it any worse right?
