Audi MMI 2G if equipped with bluetooth still can not stream music wireless. Bluetooth support HPF (hands free profile for calls) but not A2DP for streaming high-quality music.
You can add Dension 500 Gateway module, or AUX and connect bluetooth receiver, or add AMI (Audi Music Interface) with Bluetooth adapter for iPod connector.

according to the specs ive read these are the bluetooth profiles supported by your phone :
Bluetooth® Supported Profiles:
dial-up networking, headset, hands-free, file transfer, imaging, printing, JSR-82
copied directly from motorola website........so in other words your phone does not support the bluetooth stereo profile.....so the headset may function as an earpiece but music play wont be possible

If you car has a tape player then you can get one of those tape adapters and plug it into the headphones part on your iphone, then it will play through your speakers.. or, if you want to spend some money, you can take your car in and have them install the ipod hook-up.

SOURCE: I can't listen music through my bluetooth headset with iPhone
My Jabra Halo works to play iPhone's iPod music as well as phone calls. So does Jabra Arrow, I'm told. The bluetooth must have A2DP.
As James said the device should be paired with the new phone prior to listen sounds through it. I believe you have a manual of the particular speaker. Refer it and enable pairing mode of the speaker. Then you can search it from your phone's bluetooth menu. Add and connect it.
Testimonial: "I've tried syncing it, but it's not working. I turned on Bluetooth and it started searching for a device. It kept searching, and searching, and searching to no avail. Perhaps I should get the manual. When all else fails... lol. Thanks for your help!"
