Need to replace flex hose on 18V Vacuum Sweeper. I have the part.

Here is a walk through on installing the attachment hose, just reverse to remove the hose:

Your sweeper may have overheated. I don't know what brand you have but I hope you weren't trying to vacuum pine needles from the Christmas tree. Pine needles are sticky and will clog up any vacuum sweeper. Check your sweeper to make sure the tubes (hose & pipes that carry dirt) are clean and clear. I used to service Oreck vacuum sweepers.

Is it only the power head that's not working, or the central vacuum itself? Disconnect wands from hose, turn on, and hold hand over hose end to check for suction. If none, go through first set of steps below.

If the vacuum:
1. Press reset button on vacuum.
2. Check circuit breaker at the circuit box to make sure it's ON.
3. Make sure the unit is plugged in completely.
4. Use a voltage tester to check for power at the outlet.
5. Check filter. If dirty rinse it with warm water, and allow to dry thoroughly. I strongly suggest having a second filter for use during drying, then just trade off using them.

If the vacuum still doesn't turn on, consider the following:]
Broken or worn out power switch in hose handle...Switch needs replaced.
Broken wire in hose...Replace hose.
Bad connection...Needs taken to an authorized Aerus service center for check and repair.

If the power nozzle (suction at end of hose, but power nozzle doesn't work:
1. Ensure the brush has been thoroughly cleaned of any hair, string, and other items that may have wrapped around it.
2. Power nozzle motor runs, but brush doesn't turn when vacuum is on...belt needs replaced.
3. Power nozzle motor does not run...All wiring, connections, and motor need to be checked.

If you can't determine the problem with the above helps, the entire machine, including hose, wands, and power nozzle, needs to be taken to an authorized Aerus service center for complete check.

The reset button on the "sweeper" is only to start the "sweeper" motor after it has shut off due to the brush getting jammed. It doesn't effect the vacuum operation.

I want you to do 2 things, First run a small broom handle threw the hose. next you need to clean the small hose under the sweeper. its a flex hose that bends when the vacuum bends back and forth, i use hemostates and a coat hanger. this clogs up and slows sucking power.

There are 3 screws on the top housing, one on the front Right, Front Left and behind the hose in the back

Sounds like you have two separate problems here.  If the brush bar does not rotate, probably the belt is broken. This is easily replaced, but you need to be precise about which model you've got so you get the right belt.
Loss of suction is due either to a blockage or, quite often, to a split in the short length of clear plastic hose that leads back from the brush bar enclosure.  Repair is possible but replacement is better.

If you are talking about the electric hose, try using your none electric hose with the crevice tool attachment to extract the particles from the other one. When using any of the hose please leave it running a few minutes to make sure everything in the hose moves through and does not stop midway through.

I need a replacement battery for my Shark Stick sweeper model V1911 N. Can't find it on their web site. I guess it is old. Murnieruth

The hose where it hooks to the motor unit usually splits there, if this what you are talking about, then you can replace the hose asm. Part # H-90001336

I like using a Wire Clothes hanger to work the stuff out with. If you fashion a fish hook of sorts out of the wire, you can catch things inside the brush head and pull them out.
