Bt quite often give caller display, free for 12 months as part of a deal (often with membership of the TPS.). They are also known not to advise when the 12 months is up, especially if your main BT contract has a different end date. If you are with Bt, its worth asking them why you know longer have it, assuming your phones are not defective.
By either using a caller id box or a phone that supports caller id. If caller id is active on the line your it will register the data and display it accordingly.
It is my understanding the caller ID feature comes as part of your telephone service and your phone only displays what comes through. So either you changed the subscription which means you dropped the Caller ID feature or your BT plan does not have it anymore. Best to call BT and confirm.
