I have an AOC 42 inch hdtv , my problem was it on by it self as well as the volume goes ups and down,I can't even control it by doing it manually or by the remote..

It seem like capacitor is gone, as it is obvious that you do have limited knowledge of the tv, i would suggest sending it to the workshop, most aoc tv have two or three year warranty, you can check they warranty on this site:

select product and then model number and follow instructions, if it is still under warranty - your problem is solved, fill online form and that will be that, in most countries they even organise pick-up.

if it is out of warranty, on this same site you can find recommended repairer.
