Tip for beginners
The 4 litre oil bottle is way too much oil for an engine to handle.
If you have a full 4 litre oil plastic bottle square shape . hold the bottle on its side to pour the oil out slowly and smoothly.

When you have no dipstick tube you can incorrectly check youroil level. ... How you check your oil level ...Missing: inches ltr
Is there no oil dip stick on your motorcycle??? I don't know what measuring system you use where you live, so I will talk in terms of the US standard quart. If you don't have an owners manual (look behind the side cover on the left hand side), start with one quart. With the bike on the level (i.e., not on the side stand) check the oil dip stick. Continue filling until you reach the proper level indicated on the dip stick. Do not over fill.
You have an oil stick that goes into the oil pan. In order to properly check the oil level, you must let your car heat up for 7-10 minutes, until temperature is almost normal. Make sure the car is level. After that checks out, take the dip stick out of the engine. On the end of the dip stick, you will see a warm mark and a cold mark. There is two dents or marks on the edge of the dip stick. The oil level needs to be between those marks. If it is below, add oil. Be careful to not add to much. They might be just two marks on it only. Same rule. It needs to be in the middle. If you have a question, feel free to contact me. I am here to help you. Thank you for choosing FixYa.
Most any kind of 4-cycle motor oil like 10W-30 will work in these motors. After draining the old oil replace the drain plug. There are two types of motor oil fill holes: 1. If you have a motor with the oil fill/check hole on the bottom of the motor and a small screw-in plug either with or without a small dip stick on it; with the motor level, fill the crank case with oil until it is up to the threads on the oil fill/check hole. 2. If you have a motor with a long dip stick that goes into a filler tube at the top of the motor, again with the motor level, put in about half a quart of oil and use the dip stick to check the oil level. If not full, add quarter quart amounts and check again until the oil is at the full mark on the dip stick. Do not overfill the crank case with oil. Most motors will take about one quart of oil but it varries so watch to see the oil level come up to the proper level.
There is a dip stick located on the right side of the engine about 4 inches to the front of the oil fill cap.
Make sure you are on level ground. Unscrew the dip stick and wipe it off. Replace the dip stick and then remove again. Check the oil level and replace. If you need to add oil, remove the filler cap and add oil 1 to 2 ounces at a time. Check the oil dip stick to ensure that your oil level is correct.
NOTE: warm up your bike before performing the above checks.

What engine is in your A4. Normaly if the oil is in between the hash marks on the dip stick thats good, If above or below hash marks this is bad. To properly check oil level start vehicle up let it run for 30 sec. Shut vehicle off and let it sit for aprrox 2min then check the level.
