Television comes on with no picture - Televison & Video

Could use more info. But here is a shot.. most things hooked up to a TV now a days use either RCA , Comp. or HDMI cables.
so for instance u have a Blu Ray player or Satellite receiver and they are hooked up with a HDMI cable, U will need to go to the video stream that is being used for that device. Pick up you remote that came with the TV, put in a DVD or make sure the Satellite is turned on. and look on the remote for a button that has Source , Input or Ant. on it . press the button and view the screen for a drop down menu, using the arrows on the remote move to one of those and press OK or enter,, it that doesn't work try another stream.. AUX, HDMI,, etc till u get a picture.
