I have been incarcerated illegally for 10 months, I do not remember anything about my old account how do I retrieve info to get back on facebook account?

When you're logging in, there should be an option that says something like 'can't remember your password?'. Choose that option and one of your email addresses. If the email address is on file, you will get your password sent to you via your email account. Otherwise, Facebook will tell you right away if the email address that you typed in is actually on file. Unfortunately, it's a process of elimination and hopefully, you don't have too many accounts to go through.

Tell your friends who were in the friends list of your old facebook account to look at your profile info for email id. That would be your login mail id. Enter that mail id in 'Forgot password' link and get confirmation code. Paste that as per mail instructions and get new password. Login with that password and mail id you received from friends and enjoy your facebook.

Absolutely! Simply make sure to change the email address you use on FixYa to match the primary email address you use on Facebook. (The passwords do not need to be the same).

1. On your FixYa Homepage click Edit next to your name.
   
2. Make sure your email address matches the email address you use for Facebook (I would suggest your primary Facebook email address).
3. If it does not, simply type the email you use for Facebook and click Save.
4. Log Out and then click Sign In.
5. Select the option to Sign in using Facebook.
6. Once you have accepted the terms, a module with your information will appear (pictured below). Select Continue.

• Note: Username is simply what FixYa uses in the URL for your Profile.
