Tell your friends who were in the friends list of your old facebook account to look at your profile info for email id. That would be your login mail id. Enter that mail id in 'Forgot password' link and get confirmation code. Paste that as per mail instructions and get new password. Login with that password and mail id you received from friends and enjoy your facebook.

Cheers!!!

I deactivated my facebook account a couple of months ago and now I want to reactivate it. However, I cannot remember my password and I no longer have access to my email address.

FIXYA users cannot reactivate your Facebook account or reset your forgotten password.

FACEBOOK provides support for forgotten passwords and deactivated accounts. Go to the following internet links on FACEBOOK for help.

Quoting from FACEBOOK link above: "You can reactivate your Facebook account at any time by logging back into Facebook or by using your Facebook account to log in somewhere else.
Remember that you'll need to have access to the email or mobile number you use to log in. If you can't remember your password, you can request a new one. If you can't access the email associated with your account, learn how to reactivate your account."

I have two facebook accounts. Want to delete the one without a photo

You can deactivate your account temporarily and choose to come back whenever you want.
To deactivate your account:
  1. Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click General in the left column
  4. Choose Manage your account then follow the steps to confirm
If you deactivate your account your profile won't be visible to other people on Facebook and people won't be able to search for you. Some information, such as messages you sent to friends, may still be visible to others.
If you'd like to come back to Facebook after you've deactivated your account, you can reactivate your account at anytime by logging in with your email and password. Keep in mind, if you use your Facebook account to log into Facebook or somewhere else, your account will be reactivated. This means your Facebook profile, including things like your friends, photos and posts, will be completely restored. Remember that you'll need to have access to the email address you use to log in to reactivate your account.
To permanently delete your account: Permanently deleting your account means you won't ever be able to reactivate or retrieve any of the content or information you've added. If you'd like to permanently delete your account with no option for recovery, please contact us.

Deleted my original account of Facebook now I can't get it again plus I have extra accounts now that I had started trying to get the original mine back. What can I do?

It is possible to re-activate Facebook accounts that have been deleted or deactivated. Sometimes users may want to re-use old Facebook accounts. This can be done by logging in to the Facebook using the email provided during the registration process along with password. An alert message stating that the user account is no longer active will be displayed. A registration email from Facebook will automatically be sent to the email address provided when logging in to Facebook. In order to re-activate the Facebook account, the internet link in the email sent must be clicked and the corresponding instructions followed.

  • Log in to Facebook with your original email and password
  • A red sign will appear saying that you have tried to log in a deactivated account
  • They will use the email that you used during your original registration and send an email about reactivation!
  • In the email you will find a link, just follow it

Hello , I use to have a Facebook account about 2

Hello, if your facebook account was deactivated more than 30 days ago than facebook has likely permanently deleted it. Facebook regularly goes through deactivated Facebooks and deletes and account that has been deactivated longer than 30-90 days. Try visiting https://www.facebook.com/login/identify?ctx=reason and enter your email, if nothing shows up than unfortunately your account is gone forever.

Log into the one Facebook account that you wish to delete / deactivate.

On your main Facebook home page for that account click on the ACCOUNT tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Then select ACCOUNT SETTINGS.

Scroll to the bottom of that page and then click on DEACTIVATE.

Just follow the on screen instructions and then that particular Facebook account will be deactivated.

Good luck.

Can't Get Into My Facebook

I had this problem 4 weeks ago, and I emailed [email protected] (or [email protected], can't remember) and they got back to me 2 weeks after with a really nice reply, and sorted it out for me. Put my account back to normal, and gave me a new password.
They were absolutely lovely, and when I emailed them back to say thanks they even sent me another email saying 'no problem'.
Just email them and be patient :)
Don't worry.
