You didn't specify the model of your Fujifilm camera so I'm assuming it uses SD cards.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Get it off "protected card" mode?

If the card is a Secure Digital (SD), SDHC or SDXC there is a write protect switch on the card which can be slid up and down. Up means it can be written too, down means the card cannot be written too. If the card is in the position where you can write to it but the camera is saying the card is still protected it maybe a faulty card or the camera may have a fault.

My camera had a white-protection

Do you mean "write" protection instead of "white protection"? If so, look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

What does it mean when my nikon coolpix s60 displays Memory card is write protected?

It means the card has been protected from writing, preserving its current contents.

Take the memory card out of the camera and look at it. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

What does 'Write Protect' mean and how do I get rid of it?

That means that your SD card (or whichever memory card you use) is write protected and you cannot edit the card's content in any way.

Take your memory card out of the camera and plug it into your computer. There should be a place for you to change the memory card's protections that way. Sometimes, as with USB drives, there might be a small sliding lock physically located on the card which will also write protect the device.
