How do i stop my savin 2020 from printing a yellow streak on my color copies?

Sounds to me like either a faulty yellow toner cartridge (try replacing it) if the drum is integral with the toner this should clear it. Otherwise you may need to replace the yellow image drum.

Im getting magenta backround on all color copies. I replaced the drum and developer, this did not change the problem

I had the same issue. I removed all the drums and DV units, removed the transfer belt and open the manual infrrd door and pulled to fuser. I found huge piles of magenta tone all over the place. Cleaned it up, put it back together and runs like a champ

Savin c4540 printing blue stripes down the left side of page

Looks like the drum unit is going bad or the xerographic module depending on which on you have but both develop the image and transfer it to the page. Pull out the unit and see if there is any lines or damage on the drum module which will look like a brown sheet of film or be a small roll usually green or blue in color.

I have a Savin Model C2824, great shape. I want to downsize can someone tell me what fair market value is?

Without specifics all I can do is give you a ballpark. I would say around $1,500.00 would be a fair price. I base that on the fact that whom ever buys the machine will have no waranty. If the machine is under a transferable maintenance contract then maybe you could go a bit higher. I sell nothing but off lease used color and black&white copiers for a living and have done so for 27 years. If your machine had a fresh refurb done on it then the price would be higher. Anyone who is looking at buying a used color copier/printer is going to be concerned with possibly having to replace expensive parts like imaging units, fusing units etc. Also if your machine has the fax option this will help the selling price. This is a good machine and as long as the meter counts are not to high the the price point I have given you should be pretty close.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
