How to replace chuck for DC759

First of all, open the jaws of the chuck and look inside. If there is a screw in there you should be able to do this yourself. If there is no screw (sometimes torx/star head, sometimes flat/straight head) then yo uwill need to take it to a service agent/dealer as a special jig is needed to lock the spindle/chuck.
If there is a screw you need to remove it. It will be a left hand thread so turn it clockwise to remove. It will be proabbaly be tight as it will be thread locked in the factory. Once this is removed, clamp a 10mm allen key in the chuck adn steady the drill on a workbench. The actual chuck will be a normal thread so this is removed by turning it anti clockwise. It will take a sudden impact to start it off so put the gearbox in a low gear and turn the clutch to 'drill mode'. Holdong the machine steady you can hit the allen key sharply to start undoing the chuck. It may take several hits to get it going.

How can I disassemble a Dewalt keyless cordless drill chuck? I mean take it apart, not just remove it.

depending on the chuck it would take special fixtures to press apart, and unless you are very good with tools you would damage it beyond repair. I have never taken a keyless apart and tried to repair and put together, I have on the other hand done the same with the keyed chucks.

Dewalt dc759 drill squealling noise coming from

yes,the most coomon defect for poer tools are carbon brushes. But,git attention also to the gears, bushings, and bearings if there are loosen parts. Also you get rid to a debris or any small dirt particles that maybe sunctioned by the fan and has been entered in the body of the drill thats why you can hear an squealling noise..Just open and clean it.

My DC759 drill has no bearing clip

Here is the parts diagram. I hate to say it but I always have problems getting the chuck out of the clutch/transmission without breaking something. I havent figured out how to keep the spindle from moving while I try to turn the chuck. Sorry if this doesnt help much.

Having trouble removing keyless chuck from 18V DC759

Inside of chuck you have a screw, remove screw then tighten an big allen wrench into chuck, short side in, then hold drill and hit allen wrench with a hammer quickly, should break chuck free.
