Halfway boot up
It is possible that the EPROM in the phone is corrupted. It is also possible that there is a hardware defect on the circuit board. I have also seen a bad battery cause this.
Take your phone to the service rep to properly check the phone. If it only needs the firmware re-installed, this is not very expensive if you have to pay for the service. If the phone requires hardware service, which means a new circuit board or battery, and it if it is out of warranty, then this will be costly.
