Bluetooth not working on PEBL

I have an unlocked PEBL that I bought from Motorola last November mainly because it was compatible with my car's bluetooth. I have Cingular-AT&T service (I know that it's not "one of their phones") So we are limited on what we can do with it. But the BT worked. Yesterday it just stopped working. When I go to "Seeking BT Handsfree " if I go to Look for devices it says "none found". nothing happens then "Unable to connect" or "No devices found". The bluetooth icon at the top does flash when I go to the setup page and push "Find Me" But it can't find it. We've tried whatever we could think of and it's just like it got lost also the screen is going black if I have the phone on but am not using it. It used to stay lit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You need to make sure that both devices are "discoverable," using the "find me" on the phone, and whatever the car's settings are.

free codes are risky. they may go wrong while generating codes and when the number of attempts exceeds it may lead to hard reset your phone which is a double work for you. so its better to get codes from paid services to unlock your phone. i got my phone unlocked through one such paid services. i bought the subsidy code for my motorola pebl u6 from TheUnlockSpot.com

Hi there. I actually had this problem before, you have to delete all the bluetooth connections from the phone then put the cars b/tooh into pairing mode, search for the blue tooth from the phone and pair it. What you need to do now is make sure that it is paired and go into options, you then have to authorise that connection. That should sort that out!

Brand new Motorola PEBL dropping calls

you should try a master reset and clear....then connect back the wireless if the same problem occurs then try upgrading the firmware or have it reflash...that can be done by taking the phone to a mobile service center or mobile professional technician.

Downloading pictures

when you have installed the software, unless it has changed since i last saw it, you click transfer files and then a split window should show up, in each you browse for where the file resides on your phone, whether the memory card or your phones internal memory and on the other side, where you wish the file to be transfered to, and in between there there are a pc icon and a phone icon with arrows pointing eg. from phone to pc or from pc to phone. Select the file or pic you wish to transfer and then click either icon to send the file.
