My H700 does not connect. When I attempt to connect it shows the disconnect option but it isn't connected

My bluetooth H700 motorola worked fine until 2 days ago. When I try to connect it does not give the option connect -- only disconnect but it's not connected and when I hit the disconnect nothing happens. I'm frustrated.

I have my second motorola H700 headset paired to a samsung m300 phone. The problem is with my first headset after the pairing of the two, any time the headset was closed the bluetooth icon would go black...

Some phones allow you to set the options for the device in the bluetooth menu for each device. These options include auto authorize which is what you would be looking for to enable for your new headset to auto connect. I'm looking at the Samsung m300 user guide, but it doesn't mention this option, however it may be in the menu as an option when you select the device under the bluetooth menu.

How do i pair my h700 bluetooth with my samsung sgh-a767

Click on your start option, then go into settings, you may have to open "all programs" to see the settings icon, after you get in the choose the last option on that screen which I believe is option "G", next page will show a option for "Connections" (A), then option "C" bluetooth, then follow the pairing options.

Hope this helps.

Hold down the connect button on headset until steady purple light comes on, then open the boom.

Search for Bluetooth devices on the phone. When asked for a pin, use "0000". Now the H700 will show up in the Bluetooth device list, but it will not connect. Motorola H700 Bluetooth connection problem

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select H700 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.

H700 will pair, but won't connect.

To successfully pair the Motorola 700 with the Centro:
Select Bluetooth from the Home screen.
Select "On".
Under "Visibility", select "Visible".
Now click "Setup Devices".
Click "Hands-free Setup"
On the Motorola earpiece, with the flip-out mouthpiece in the closed position, press and hold the multi button until ring around it glows purple. Flip open the mouthpiece.
Now click "Next" on the Centro's screen.
The Centro should find the Motorola. Hold the Motorola to the right side of the phone if you have difficulty getting the Centro to find it.
Once found, click the Motorola H700 listed in the window and click "OK".
The Centro will ask for the device password. Enter 0000. Be sure that the checkbox for "Add to trusted device list" is checked. Click OK.
The two devices should now be paired to work together and the Motorola's multi button should rapidly blink blue; NOW click "Done".
You will be taken to the Trusted Devices screen.
You will see your Motorola in the list of Trusted Devices. Click on it to highlight it, if it is not already highlighted.
Click the menu drop-down key (located to the right of the ALT key).
You will now see a drop-down at the top of the screen that says "Connect". Click the "palm" center button on your Centro.
NOW the two devices are connected. The phone name will now be bold, and a small Bluetooth icon will appear to the right of it.
When you click the Phone key on your Centro, you will see a tiny blue headphone symbol now at the top right of the screen where the Bluetooth icon used to be.

To use the earpiece:
Flip it open and hang it on your ear.
Dial the number you want to call on the phone.
Press the multi button once and now you should be connected via the earpiece.
To receive a call, when your Centro rings, press the multi button once.

It took me a few hours to figure it out. Hopefully you can do it in a few seconds.

H700 unable to pair up 'service not supported'

The term "service" refers to other types of services supported by bluetooth technology like keyboards, mice, etc. There's a lot more than just headsets now. I suggest checking the bluetooth options on your phone to see if there is a refresh service or other option....there is one like that on my blackberry that I once had to use to solve a similar issue. Have you tried disabling bluetooth, rebooting phone, enabling bluetooth, and rebooting phone before pairing? Also, look to see if there is an encryption on/off option on the phone...this could be causing an echo in either state due to interference...try switching encryption on/off. Also, check your update options on the phone, you didn't say which kind of phone it is but some can get firmware updates that may be needed for bluetooth to work well. Finally, you may get results by deleting the device on the phone and re-adding it thru discovery.
