Hyundai tv service mode

I'm not sure if you can without a remote but you can try this, you can reset and eliminate the lock on some televisions without the remote, using a few tactics. Hold the power button for five seconds. The television will automatically restart. If the lock is still on, unplug the television and remove the battery from the back panel of the television.

Try doing a hard reset by removing the USB drive. Switch the off the TV and remove the power cable from the power outlet. Let it sit for an hour or longer. Then plug it in and turn the TV on without the USB drive. If not OK you need to unlock a "child lock" using the remote.

Remove the batteries from the remote, unplug the Power to the TV, reinstall remote batteries taking care the polarity of the batteries in case the kids monkeyed with them and then plug the power cord back into the TV.
If that fails, take the remote to the store and and see if it works on their Sharp TV like yours. If that fails contact Sharp support for a replacement. (1.800.BE.SHARP)

MIGHT WORK IF YOU:
Turn off tv with remote, that is standby, then turn off tv with switch or unplug from wall. Wait a few minutes until led lights go off on tv. plug tv back in. try pushing vt on remote and power button on tv at same time.
If this doesn't work try contacting a local retailer, they always have a list of codes for their salesmen.

Check the following two procedures to unlock the tv.
1. Press and hold the display button on the remote for 5 seconds for unlocking the tv.. if doesnt help then,

1. Press VOL -- button on the frond panel of the tv and Child lock button on the Remote together. (remote should be faced to tv when you press the buttons)
2. Press MODE button on the remote
3. Using channel +/-- select chid lock
4. Enter New code
5. Press the mode button

Problem: The remote is not
performing commands properly.
• You must put the remote in the
correct mode by pressing the

unplug tv
then try to turn power on while unplugged and let sit for a little while
maybe that will help it reset

frist see if the control panel on your tv works, if so then check and see if the eye on your tv is dirty sometimes they are hard to get to i took my pocket knife and cleaned mine or air in can should work. when the eye gets dirty on the tv it won't respond to the remote. hope this helps
