Hey Blu,
Sorry to hear your having problems with your camera. If I am correct, you are using a Kodak Easy Share. This is a common problem with the Easy share series. The error means that the lens
is out of alignment. This
can be a costly repair, but before I send you off to Kodak. Lets try some unconventional methods of fixing this camera. (The following is not suggested by Kodak, and I cannot be held responsible for damage to your camera.)
Lets proceed.
1. Turn on your camera and listen closely to it. (put close to your ear). See if you can hear a slight grinding of the gears within the camera lens. If you can proceed to step 2.
2. Turn the camera off.
3. Turn the camera upside down.
4. Press the power button on and smack the side of the camera with the **** of you palm.
5. If you hit it just in the right spot there has been much success of rearranging the gears within
and you will be able to hear the lens move back into place.
I hope those steps will help fix your problem. I know it isn't a common solution but believe me it has had
much success with fixing the offset gears in the lens.
