SOURCE: wine cooler noise
The problem is likely with one of the two fans. A new fan is available from Danby (1-800-263-2629). My noisy fan is the condensor fan located at the bottom rear of the device. After removing the cooler from under the cabinet, the source of the noise was obvious. You will need to tell them whether it is the upper fan or lower fan. Leave the cooler upright for a few hours before you plug it in so that you do not damage the condenser. Price for the fan from Danby is $20.15 including shipping. Dear moriquenda
welcome to fixya.
Did you try resetting the system by pulling the plug and waiting 5 minutes then restarting the wine cooler? This may solve you problem.
Danby expects customers to call service and does not imagine the rest of the world being able to utilize these codes.
Closed minded, Huh?

SOURCE: danby wine cooler compresser not running and is hot
The compressor needs to be tested to see if it's operational. This normally needs to be done by a service tec.
