Danby wine cooler model dwc172bl thermostat replacement

I've just received a new thermostat for my wine cooler but cannot remove the old one as the thermocouple cannot be pulled out. How is this removed and/or how do I get to where-ever it might be attached?
Thanks for the help.

Once I figured out there were black plastic caps covering the screws holding the inside back panel in place, it was an easy fix. The cooler is now up and running. Thank you for giving me the $10 incentive to figure it out myself.

How do you replace a B03F4666 Temperature Control board for the AW-320ED wine cooler? I received the part and the instruction but the instruction is not accurate and does not work

To replace the B03F4666 Temperature Control board for the AW-320ED wine cooler, follow these steps: Unplug the wine cooler and locate the control board inside the wine cooler. Remove the screws or connectors that secure the old control board in place. Disconnect the wires from the old control board. Connect the wires to the new control board in the same configuration as the old control board. Secure the new control board in place with screws or connectors. Plug in the wine cooler and test the temperature control to ensure it is working properly; https://kitchencol.com/edgestar-wine-cooler-lights-blinking/ If the instruction manual you received is not accurate, you can try finding a video tutorial online or reaching out to the manufacturer for clarification on the replacement process.

Wine fridge thermostat

No pictures, the new one goes in the same as the old one comes out. You have 2 screws on the bottom of the evaporator that holds the sensor in place. Then the sensor runs thru the bottom toward the back.As you remove the old one jus put the new one in the same way.

Wine cooler makes noise and runs hot

The price looks fine for my area its about a 3 hour job done properly. you should consider a new wine cooler and cut your losses because if their only replacing the compressor they should be replacing the cap tube and liquid drier if the cap tube is not replaced could be a waste of money

Wine cooler stopped cooling

I have seen this before. Get the thermostat off and put it's 2 wires together just to SEE if the wine cooler comes on. Be careful not to let it bite ya or ground against the cabinet. If it runs then thermostat replacement needed, now how simple is that?

Noisy Wine Fridge

The problem is likely with one of the two fans. A new fan is available from Danby (1-800-263-2629). My noisy fan is the condensor fan located at the bottom rear of the device. After removing the cooler from under the cabinet, the source of the noise was obvious. You will need to tell them whether it is the upper fan or lower fan. Leave the cooler upright for a few hours before you plug it in so that you do not damage the condenser. Price for the fan from Danby is $20.15 including shipping.
