You will have to open the laptop up todo this,or if you are lucky it could be under a little plate on the bottom of the laptop..i dont think you are going to be lucky.

Probably impossible. Most laptop graphics chips are soldered directly to the motherboard requiring a new motherboard if one dies, and very few are actual "cards." That being said, it looks like your's is a nVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go which might be a card. I'll do some research and find out.
Comment posted on May 22, 2008 Well if you look at picture for Step 25 here:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-Pro-M10/replace-laptop-motherboard-3.htm

It does say that it's the "video board." It looks like it's replaceable, so if you can find a replacement card then it should be possible. Unless you are very comfortable following the guide starting at:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-Pro-M10/replace-laptop-motherboard.htm

I wouldn't recommend it.

Do not waste your time looking for a CMOS battery to reset password, it will not work. The solution is to take or send the laptop to a Toshiba service Center and have the password erased or reset. You may have to show proof of ownership of the laptop and you will have to pay for the service if the laptop is out of warranty.

Fan issue

Here is a disassembly guide for your laptop:

Not every screw is required to be removed to take out the keyboard but to replace a fan you most likely will have to since the machine needs to be entirely opened up.

Usb ports on a toshiba satellite pro m15-S405

You can if you have good soldering skills. The welds are located on the opposite side of the motherboard. Just go to partstore.com or ebay to find a raw module to replace it. Otherwise you must replace the motherboard. Remember, heat the work not the solder, and use low watt if lots of smaller circuits are closeby.
