90 to 105 comression on my 95 saturn timing chain broke will it run if i put a new chain in

I'm 99% positive that compression should be more than 200psi. If the chain broke it bent valves. A used motor would be your better option. The 1.9 SOHC is a cheap and common engine. The 1.9 DOHC will be considerably more expensive.

If you have a manual transmission the engine and trans will need to be pulled together and separated out of the car. If you have an automatic transmission the engine can be removed without pulling the transmission.

The letter wheel does not hold its position

Check for bent or broken spokes on the P/W or the correction tape is tangled in the wheel.

Changing correction tape in model SL 105 I am attempting to put in a new correction tape in my Model SL 105. It appears to be moving, but I am getting no correction.

If the correction tape is moving and lifting there is a good possibility that the ribbon or correction tape are old and have changed composition or you have a non correctable ribbon.

Error condition ribon out for zebre 105 sl

This may be due to the fact that your ribbon is too translucid, back quality transfer films.
To overcome this you must use a bit of scotch and a piece of film and stick it on the ribbon sensor.
Else try a callibate to see if the error is not solved

We have one zebra printer, Model 105-SL , its not

You can try to factory default by turning the printer off, hold down the pause and the feed buttons. While holding pause and feed down turn on the printer and count to 5 and then release the 2 buttons and the printer will return to factory setting. Typicaly when all the lights stay lit its do to the logic board being bad but sometimes you can get lucky with the default.

I have a Zebra 105-SL and it seems not to recognize the distance between stickers since it prints a couple and then jumps a couple more.

Sounds like the white platen roller under the printhead needs to be cleaned or the printer needs to be calibrated.
