Most spark plug manufacturers have online application catalogues that mostly also provide the required spark gap for their spark plug in that application.

Choose the brand you want to use and then google that catalogue...

Two plugs mentioned here.

FR7DP, 4228 and Spark plugs: Champion RC8PYP 8 (or equivalent)
Spark plug gap: 0.028-0.032" (0.7-0.8 mm)

Champion is the kind of plug. most are 5/8 of an inch.

depends on what kind of spark plugs you buy, some do others do not, I use the kind that does not need to be gapped

10 40....as for the gap for the spark plug. NGK would be the spark plug recommended. gapping is unecessary.
