Phone has white screen

hello, before i tell you the problem i have few things to clarify, for your information the screen works with two components the display and the back-light , in order to see what is displayed you need the back-light (this is that you change levels as brightness), the touch screen works separately in top of display

• You can't see any light in the screen what so ever (low brightness)?, when the phone is slide up and slide down state.
• Go to a bright-light lamp, bring the phone close to the lamp tilt the phone slightly in either ways and see whether you can see the display (menu or icons)

if you agree with my points, you have dead screen back-light and need to be replaced,

The problem with your phone is just flex problem, the flex on the screen of your phone is weak or worn out, this is a common problem among slide or flip phone.

What you need to do is to replace the flex on the screen of your phone, you can get this done by going to any local phone repairer within your vicinity to help get it fix or replace.

Once the flex is replace, your phone display problem is solve and the screen will start displaying.

try to dial emergency number,,if there is an voice from operator,,it means your phone is working with white screen display,,.you have to replace LCD. but if you dial emergency number,,and there is no voice..it means you need to reprogram your phone

first remove the battery just 5minites .................then display is out try change dis play .......

in most cases the fibre ribbon gets worn out.
you can try a local cellphone repair shop, or sony service if you can afford it.
the ribbon needs to be replaced.

its the electronic belt that connect the screen to the keyboard is might be cutted or got a lil bit moved from its original place disassemble the phone and see what can u do about that if its cutted buy a new one and solder it its edasy u can

Did you check thIs?
I.Menu...tools...settings....general..light sensor.....Try to increase the light sensor .
2. change the lcd????

I have managed to fix the problem by doing a software update.
I stumbled across the solution..........I had the phone connected to the computer when I started it in the 'boot loader' screen as opposed to just turning it on. This time the computer recognised the phone was connected and through the motorola software update program I was able to update the software and the phone now works fine.
BTW I did lose all my address book, messages etc.
To start in the boot loader screen hold down the * + # + pwr keys all at once.

i had the same issue when my phone got slightly wet. try taking everything apart (sim card, battery, back). let them dry out for a little bit then after like a day or two put the phone back together. turn it on it will be a white screen for a little bit but give it like 2 or 3 mins and if should come back. I did this for my phone cuz i really needed the pictures off it and it worked! hopefully if will work for you too. GOOD LUCK!

Try taking out the battery overnight and replace and try to turn on. If this doesn't help, then try updating your phone's firmware.
