Samsung Blackjack II has a bright white display when powered on. You can hear the phone start up and shut down. When you plug the charger in the red charge indicator flashes. The phone was dropped in water, then immediately taken apart to dry out. Do you think it is just the display that is bad? Is it possible to replace them yourself without breaking the phone?

Samsung Blackjack II battery went completely dead and now the phone will not recharge. When plugged in, green recharge light will not come on.

Issue with either battery, charging port on phone, or charger. Attempt replacement of charger or different outlet first. Then battery replacement, about $50. Then phone replacement (hope you're eligible for warranty or have insurance if you don't want to upgrade).

My samsung blackjack II phone wont switch on

Hey,

sorry I got disconnected from the chat session. Try plugging it to the charger with the battery attached and try turning it on again and try holding the directional button up again.

If noting happens still, go to a local phone shop and try the phone with another battery and charger.

If the phone still doesn't turn on with a new battery or a charger then its a hardware problem with the phone, are you on warranty?

If you are on warranty contact your dealer or samsung for repairs, if you are outside of warranty ask the shop if they repair these phones or contact samsung or your dealer for out of warranty repairs.

the phone appears to be faulty - has a hardware issue that requres repairs.

Blackjack II will not start

This has happened to my Blackjack II and I've found if I plug it into the charger then plug the charger into the wall, the phone comes right on. It's a pain, however, if I'm not at home when it decides to do this since no amount of button pushing will turn it back on, it acts like the battery is dead (when I know it isn't!)

BTW, I've have to have my SIM card switched out twice and the battery replaced 4 times since I bought this phone brand new in February......

Samsung Blackjack II people can't hear talking on the phone

Hi jobare,

If you haven't already tried it, you may want to try a hard reset. (Warning: the hard reset process will erase all content and settings that you've added to or created on the phone.)

----------------------------

Hard Reset for BlackJack II:

1) Power off the BlackJack II
2) Hold the UP button on the directional pad
3) While holding the UP button, press and hold the Power button
4) When prompted, press the 1 (or 'E') key to continue
5) When prompted, press the 'Y' key to confirm

-----------------------------

If this doesn't resolve the audio issue it's probably microphone related and you'll probably want to research replacement options.

Hope this helps!
Thanks,
The MoDev Kid
