BC15BD shows FLO even though Battery is not charged

Hello
The battery is worn, the voltage rising on it immediately, the rectifier senses it and stops charging, thus blocking its overvoltage.
Machine It is normal to not start since the battery no longer stores the current.
Replace the battery!
However, be sure that the rectifier has no problems, you can test it with another battery, if the loading is finished instantly, it may be guilty, it can also be damaged.

Why does the battery volt button show 12.1 v when the battery doesn't have enough juicy to start the car? I thought it would show me the volts the battery had

The meter shoes the battery voltage, not the amperage. It may have 12V but still not supply the current (amperage) you need to turn over the starter.

Amp Gauge goes all the way past the highest number

amp gauge, and you forgot high number, 30, 60 , 80 , 100 amps?
and did it go left or right, one way is discharge other is charging.
key facts all.?????
no year,
no statement of , if car is stock or not.
if someone added a gauge, here,

back in the olden days, before the way better volt meter.
they had Amp gauges, many we ADD on.
most are wrong size. too. and installed WRONG. (ask correct way)
if the alt dies, the ammeter goes negative amps showing disgnarge ammount,
when runing right it ill be in the posative direction, charging battey
or at 0amps, battery is charged.
all this depends on how its installed.
if put in the alternator lead (big) it will only show alternator output.
10 to 50amps, 10 is typical. 50 be dead battery, running.

Just want to know what the code FLO stands for kid lost the manual

The digital display shows "FLO" to indicate that the unit is in float charge mode. The battery "fully charged" icon will display on the LCD screen and the arrows pointing to the "+" and "-" will flash. In this mode, the unit monitors the battery voltage and charges as necessary to assure the battery maintains full capacity. The unit remains in float charge mode as long as the charger is connected to the battery and plugged into a functioning AC outlet. I hope this has answered your question.
