How do I reset my password on TOMTOM GO 910? - GO Tomtom GPS

Well i am writing this wile I am trying this out...
I have a TomTom Go 910 that has a RED CROSS FLASHING on the bottom corner, what I have found is that if you have backed up your TomTom Go i maybe able to reset the TomTom Go on my computer but if you havent you may have to find on try finding one on google but i have a TomTom Go 910 you can download the 910 on http://rapiddigger.com/download/backup-go-910-rar-9110176/.

after you found the back-up you can connect your TomTom Go to your computer using the USB provided from your TomTom Go, replace the doggie file with the new one, then this should change it back to the FIRST update given...

hi try reset, go to tomtom.com go to support, search for reset, select soft reset, select your device do as the tell you. good luck.

Hopefully all you need to do is a soft reset. To do this use a streightened paper clip and insert it into the small round hole marked reset on the bottom of your tt. Gently press the reset button in until you feel a click. Hold the reset button in for 20 seconds. Hope this does the job.

you have to hold the reset for at least 30 seconds. Get up free updates and back up your device

take out the docking arm and it it a little hole above the gold chip set in the casing...do not touch the chip with your resetting tool

I have seen the green screen problem a few times before and this was caused by corrupted data / software or an error in booting up.
If you can't turn any TomTom off then perform a reset by inserting a paper clip into the rest hole and give 1 short press of the reset button ( it's a tactile switch so you should feel it click ) then try switching the TomTom on again the normal way. ( reset buttons are normally found through a small hole underneath the TomTom ).
If the TomTom does switch on but continues as before with the loading up problem , then it's best to format and reload all files from your backup copy.
A RED CROSS indicated a loading fault / corrupted files / incomplete files / corrupted or damaged media . ( media , meaning SD card or hard-drive )

I searched on GOOGLE, found the link and fixed my tomtom,it just needed to reset, thanks anyhow

Complain to Tom Tom ,you may have a lemon,look for law suit soon

Format the hard drive and reinstall the tomtom applications and the maps.
