Fewer rings before voicemail...

How do I make the phone have fewer rings on an incoming call before it goes to voicemail? It's a Panasonic KX-T7633 model. On an advice given by an expert, it said to press *713 and then a 2 digit number between 00-99, but it doesn't work.

Does your system use the FWD/DND option or is it the programming. I also need to know what kida system this is.

If it is for the TDA then you can (if you have access too)
Prog soft key below LCD ->
the press FWD/DND button ->
Down on the silver button about 3 times. Should see 53:FWD N/A Time then enter
Should see timer (sec) :xxx with your current time.
Press new time example 015 for 15 sec then press enter.

If that doesnt work let me know and I get you the other way.

I try to answer an incoming call from a panasonic kx-t7633 and the display says line busy in the upper left corner ad c.back in the lower right corner....I cannot answer calls, but I can make them

Sounds like you are not a ringing destination. If it isn't blinking on your phone then you can't answer it.

If it comes in and immediately gets answered I could be that the trunks are set to DIL to the voicemail like it would for night service.

On the Panasonic KX-T7633, how can you answer a call on extension 101 that is actually ringing/incoming on extension 103?

A couple of ways, the easiest is to dial *41103 on the intercom. *40 may also work, but it picks up any ringing outside line.

I can only pick up when it rings from the main phone. panasonic kx-t7633

These systems have manuals for a reason. The unprogrammed system has no ICD group assignments. When you put the phones and the ring preferences into the groups, the phones will both blink and/or ring on incoming calls. By default ICD group 1 is 600.

Incoming calls: When we receive an incoming call,

Extension call forwarding is controlled by a timer, and they put these things in the manual. If your CF after 2 rings is from a call to a specific extension, from that extension, dial *713 and a 2 digit number from 00-99 seconds on the intercom. Start with 18.

If your call forwarding is from intercept, then you have a system programming issue and need to look in the installer's manual or check with your system programmer.

KX-T7633 Voicemail rings

The Voice Mail feature is set by your phone company, not by the phone. Typically the phone company will set it for 20 seconds, or approximately 4 rings. This is called your voice mail "Ring Cycle"

Call them up (the customer service number should be on your phone bill) and they should be able to increase or decrease your ring cycle for you at no charge.

I can't find out how to set the number of rings before my phone goes to voicemail

The system CF timer is something obscenely long, like maybe 40 seconds. Each user can change it by dialing *713 and a 2 digit number from 00 to 99.
