How to hook up tr-505. 5.1A/V

Assuming you have all 5 speakers and a powered subwoofer it's very simple. There is an RCA plug labeled "Subwoofer Out" that goes to your powered subwoofer. The speakers are labeled as well Left/Rigt Front and rear along with center. Make sure you hook them all up Positive and negative exactly the same or it won't sound right. Phase issues are the number one cause of bad sound and, besides, why spend money on a good ONkyo if you don't intend to do it right? Hope this helps

On my Kenwood vr-505 Under the speaker symbol it says clip and there is no sound coming from the speakers

Hello. My name is Dave. Unplug the receiver. Plug it back in. When you first push the power button, you should hear one relay click. Within about 5 seconds, you should hear another click. My guess is, you don't hear the second click. Am I correct?

My dav-dz270 has no sound from the centre and rear speakers. only the sub-woofer and front speakers produce sound.

Make sure your sound mode is set to Dolby Pro logic II. This will force it to produce sound from all of the speakers.

When i connect optical my center and rear speakers wont work, only the front 2 and sub

Make sure you have enabled your surround and center speakers in the setup for that input and adjusted their levels. Then select media that is recorded in surround sound OR run a test signal.

What is tracking force and arm weight for Dual 505-2 deck?

http://ortofon.de/ should give you the weight. It should also give you the range of tracking force. To get the right weight you can use a stylus balance. The electronic ones are expensive but good. The mechanical ones are not great but better than nothing. I set my turntable up with an Ortofon-branded mechanical balance for weight, and a test record for tracking force.
