any reciever/amplifer will work, keep the wattage below 200 watts rms. standard speaker wire is fine, you don't need to spend a lot of money on "special" gold wires, that's just a scam. plain old copper wire works great and you can get that at BestBuy or even Radio Shack

Generally, any modern all-in-one will interface with any modern TV. It all depends on the connections matching up. Keep in mind that the system is for the audio and source origination while the TV is there to add a visual, not audible, aspect to your enjoyment. If there is something the TV can display it probably originates from somewhere that could connect directly to the audio system, so let the specialized audio equipment handle the audio while the TV handles the video.

The TV probably has HDMI, component and/or composite video connections. Use whatever Video output matches on your all-in-one, in that order of preference and decreasing video quality.

For TV-based listening (that usually means 'cable), use the audio output of the cable box primarily in the following order of preference: HDMI, optical or coaxial digital, analog (RCA). Without brand/model specifics, I can't guess what that would entail.
