Reset the lamp timer.
1,Connect the power cord.
2,While simultaneously holding down "menu","enter" and "down" on the projector, press "standby/On" on the projector and keep all four buttons pressed down until the lamp indicator starts blinking green.
"LAMP 0000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

I replaced the lamp in my Sharp xv-z90u. When I attach the power cord I get a solid green on the power indicator light. I also get a flashing green on the lamp indicator. I tried programming the reset...

First check your bulb properly matched with your projector. After changing the lamp reset the lamp hour (counting from 0hrs). Adjust the osd transparency.

If u set the lamp properly then It may cause the lamp circuit need repair.

Have you got yellow lamp indication before change the lamp? If occur then you have been late to change it. If you used it up to 2500hrs. then this problem may arise. Check those first if everything ok then may be the circuit have some problem, go to the nearest sharp authorize service center or visit website.

I am replacing the bulb on my sharp xv-z2000 projector. i replaced it fine but the power light and the bulb light both stay red and i cant even turn the projector on. how do you reset the projector?

Two red lights indicate a problem with the lamp circuitry, i.e. the ballast. This requires a service center to change out a circuit board. Given the cost, it might be time to look for a new projector.

I need to replace the bulb in my Sharp XV-S55U projector. The manual does not show how to change bulb. I can find the part on the internet but not the "how to".
