Service manual unit fails to turn on

1. Turn unit on
2. Pull out the safety key
3. While holding down the 'start' and 'speed increase' button insert the safety key. Unis should now say calibration.
4. Press enter on all options until screen does not change when you press.
5. Press 'Start' (Unit will run auto calibration). If passed, the unit will reset itself. If fail it will say 'fail'.
6. If you do not see 'fail' power off, then on again once done.
7. You're good to go. (If unit says 'fail' contact service)

If any of these errors occur, turn the the unit power OFF and restart it.
If these error message continue to appear, please contact a TASCAM Service Center.

Ok above is your service manual, inside you will find all service and repair data so you can troubleshoot, and hopefully repair your monitor. As a heads up, a lot of the time these units fail, due to faulty electrolytic capacitors, be sure to check the ALL out. Always start in the right place, and check the Power Supply unit, "Are the Voltages Correct".

You need to get an RDR-HX900 service manual either from sony or from a supplier advertising on the internet. Service manuals typically have step-by-step instructions on replacing individual components

6A80 error is an APP position error caused by the APP motor during the purging operation as the printer starts up. Canon states that one of three components is likely to have failed, the sheet feed unit, purge unit or logic board. All of these will be almost impossible to get as a spare part. Try sutting off the power to both units. This may reset the unit. Check out the service manual at LG website www.lgusa.com. Go to their support page and put the model number in. Remove and replace the batteries in the remote. If there is a communication error, the inside unit will display 3 flashes. If all else fails, call LG at 1-800-243-0000. Good Luck!
