Fujitsu heat pump flashing code?

Hi, wondering if anyone can solve this. The indoor unit, when switched on, is flashing 10 orange timer lights and the main red power light flashes continuous. When I turn the indoor unit on the fan seems to work but there is no cooling. After about 5 minutes the indoor unit shuts down and the flashing lights are displayed. The outdoor unit doesn't seem to be kicking-in at all.

What is the model number of your equipment. I'm only seeing a 9 flash and that points to a faulty reversing valve.

SOURCE: System will not start up.

This is a signal fault between the indoor and outdoor first make sure the dip switches are set start with the unit closest to the condensor set as unit 1 then next unit as 2 and so on the dip switches are inside the indoor unit on the pc board if you check the manual it will tell you which swithes to set, if this wasnt done when the units where installed they would have never worked i would also check the signal wiring between the wallmount and the splitter box / bc box and make sure there isnt a loose connection when you have ruled this out id say more than likely it is a faulty indoor board on the wallmounted unt

My fujitsu Halcyon indoor unit Operation and timer lights (red and green) flash 4 times and then the timer light (green) flashes three times.

I have one of these units and it has had its fair share of troubles, but great when it is working. My latest issue is the the flap on the indoor unit doesn't open!

This generally works for me. Pull out the isolator outside on the wall or disconnect at the breaker. Leave for a couple of hours. Reconnect and wait 15 minutes. If you are connecting via the isolator you will hear relays clicking and solenoids rattling as the unit goes through a Self Test procedure, then try normal operation.

Fujitsu ASTA12JEC switching off after 5 - 10 mins. Operation light drops out and timer light flashes 3 times every 10 secs.

If a lizard has climbed onto a main board, its pretty safe to say the board has been damaged. If you are in Australia, try Statewide Appliances in Adelaide. Look them up on the net. It has a pretty good website which you can insert your model number and it will advise cost and availability or call Fujitsu direct. There are Fujitsu part suppliers all over Australia.

Fujitsu a/c outdoor model number AOTG12LVC indoor unit economy light flashing continuously, operation light single flash, timer light single flash this sequence repeats

Serial communication error. This means that the indoor unit is not communicating with the outdoor unit usually because the outdoor unit is faulty. You can check the indoor unit by switching it to 'fan' mode and seeing if all functions work normally (fan speed, louvers move as directed). If it responds normally, then it's probably ok so you can turn your attention to the outdoor unit. A common problem with the outdoor controllers is that they are susceptible to bugs, geckos, etc. shorting them out which will mean replacement of the board.

MY FIJITSU inverter is not working correctly, the timer light is flashing continuously and the timer lights flashes 5 times can anyone help pleawe

fujitsu is a good brand.
try one of these two things:

Turn the unit off then on again. After that press test button on remote control (rear side) and look how many times now operation and timer LED flashes. Note that. Then press MANUAL/AUTO button on indoor unit until you hear 3 beeps from buzzer. That will erase error memory.
Switch off and than on unit and see if indication repeat or it is gone. If it is gone, keep using your unit.
If it is repeated post your notes here.

OR+++++++++++++++++++++FOR OTHER MODELS

5 x Operation flash and a constant Timer flash indicates an outdoor unit control error. With this code flashing on the indoor unit, you need to point the remote at the unit and push the test run button. The flash pattern will change to a continuously flashing Operation light and a number of flashes of the timer light which gives more detail on what the error is.

To get the unit to try to restart you need to push and hold the manual/auto button on the indoor unit for a few seconds then reset the mains power supply but leave it off for a minute or so for the unit to power down completely. If you are going to try this make sure you make a note of any error codes first if you have to get someone out to look at it, it will help them a lot.

Timer light on fujitsu heat pump flashes not heating

the light flashing indicates there is a problem. you can try reseting the system by turning the power supply off and back on again 30 sec later, if the same thing happens you need to count the number of light flashers and that relates to a fault code

The operation and timer lights on my Fujitsu split system are flashing on and off several times when the unit is switched off I noticed this after the system had stopped blowing air & I knew the room...

I have same problem like yours to my newly installed Fujitsu multi-split system (the first time use since system installed 1 week ago). I rang the electrician who did the installation; he said it must be the units themselves nothing to do with electricity.

Okay, then I rang Fujitsu and their local service agent. They suggested me to switch off C/B for an hour to reset the units. I followed the instruction but the indoor units still did not respond to remote control...

It simply looks like no power supply to indoor units (they are hard-wired to the outdoor unit). So I used a multi-meter to test the power terminals of indoor units (Danger! If you have no idea about this, don't even try! ): it seemed no power supply even C/B is on. I turned to the isolator which next to the outdoor unit. The isolator was making arcing noise when I switched it on and off. The indoor units suddenly turned on for few minutes then died again.

So I figured out the problem is that crooked isolator. I called the unhappy electrician to replace the isolator. End story....

I hope my experience will help you a little bit.
